Competition Terms and Conditions of Participation

LIABILITY WAIVER AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

By participating in the Gomeda Ultra Trail, each individual hereby declares that they have read, understood, and accept the following terms and conditions:

  1. Eligibility

    • Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

    • All participants must present either a health report issued within six months prior to the race confirming fitness to compete, or a valid athlete’s license from the relevant sports federation.

    • Participants aged 65 and over must submit a cardiologist-endorsed health report including a recent EKG.

    • The race demands both physical and mental endurance; participants acknowledge they enter at their own risk and assume full responsibility for their participation.

  2. Registration & Cancellation

    • Registrations are completed online via the official registration platform.

    • Entry fees must be paid at the time of registration using the accepted payment methods.

    • Requests for cancellation and refund will be handled in accordance with the organizer’s published deadlines and policies.

    • Transfers of registration or participation by a third party are strictly prohibited.

  3. Mandatory Equipment & Checks

    • The mandatory gear list will be communicated to participants prior to race day.

    • Equipment checks will be conducted at bib pickup and again before the start.

    • Participants found without required gear will be denied their race kit and will not be allowed to start.

  4. Race Rules & Safety

    • Participants must follow all course markings provided by the organization.

    • Trail running carries an inherent risk of getting lost; participants are responsible for remaining alert.

    • The organizer reserves the right to alter the course, postpone, or cancel the event due to weather, safety concerns, or force majeure.

    • Medical teams and ambulances will be stationed at designated points; medical staff may bar any participant from continuing if deemed necessary.

  5. Environmental Protection

    • Participants commit to preserving the natural environment, not littering, and respecting wildlife.

    • Littering or any harmful action toward the environment will result in immediate disqualification.

  6. Use of Photographs & Video

    • Participants grant the organizer permission to use any photographs or video footage taken during the event for promotional purposes.

  7. Disclaimer of Liability

    • The organizer is not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings during the event.

    • Participants accept full responsibility for any personal loss or injury incurred before or during the race.

  8. International Participants

    • Runners traveling from abroad are responsible for securing all necessary travel documents (passport, visa, etc.), arranging their own travel, health, and accident insurance, and providing complete contact information to the organizers.

    • The organizer assumes no responsibility for issues arising from border controls, travel cancellations, or visa problems.

  9. Right to Amend

    • The Gomeda Ultra Trail organization reserves the right to modify these terms and the event schedule at any time without prior notice.
