10K - GOMEDA
The Mustafapaşa 10K Run will be held in the historical Mustafapaşa town of Nevşehir's Ürgüp district and offers participants the opportunity to run amidst the unique natural and cultural texture of Cappadocia.
The course begins in the center of Mustafapaşa and winds through the town's characteristic stone architecture and narrow streets. In this first section, runners navigate through buildings featuring authentic examples of Ottoman and Greek architecture before quickly transitioning into natural terrain.
A large portion of the run takes place on valleys, vineyard roads, and dirt paths, all of which stand out among the region's natural beauty. This route, featuring occasional steep ascents and controlled descents, offers participants a balanced performance route with both visual richness and technical structure.
The last part of the course returns to the Mustafapaşa residential area, regaining its historical texture and the race ends in the town square.

In addition to the unique beauty of the Gomeda Valley, the Mustafapaşa 10K course is designed as a special route reflecting the unique geography and cultural heritage of the Cappadocia region. Guidance support will be provided throughout the race, along with water and refueling points.
This event, which will be held in Mustafapaşa, a district that stands out with its historical and natural riches, aims to contribute to the promotion of the region while also providing participants with a quality running experience.
Technical Information
The 10K course takes participants on a short but impressive exploration of Cappadocia. Starting from Mustafa Paşa, the route descends into the Gomeda Valley. Runners navigate the soft dirt paths and waterways of the valley floor, passing natural rock formations, short tunnels, and historical ruins.
At the midpoint, a gentle ascent begins out of the valley. The final three kilometers, accompanied by stone paths and short inclines, lead back to the center of Mustafa Paşa.

20% stony/rock ground
10% short asphalt transition

Maximum altitude: 1,220 m
Minimum altitude: 980 m
2 medium-grade climbs (at the valley exit and on the way back from the village)
1 short but narrow technical descent (church transition area)
Support Points:
1 water/energy station (approximately at the 5th km)
Water and refreshments tent in the finish area
