GOMEDA VALLEY – A HIDDEN PARADISE
Gomeda Valley, one of the hidden treasures of Cappadocia, has a fascinating atmosphere with both its nature and historical texture. This valley, which lies between Ürgüp and Mustafapaşa, is often referred to as “Little Ihlara” but offers a completely different experience with its unique character.
Traces of underground life dating back thousands of years, caves carved into the rocks, tunnels, churches and water channels... All these structures silently whisper the history of the valley. At the same time, the stream passing through the valley and the dense tree cover offer a cool and green landscape that is quite different from the rest of Cappadocia.
Gomeda Valley promises runners a unique ultra trail experience with its challenging and technical trails as well as its mystical atmosphere. This valley, where stone, water, shadow and history are intertwined, tells a different story with every step.
Running here is not only a physical challenge, but also a journey through the traces of the past.
